When the Nintendo DS first came out one of the underdog successes of the amazing console was it's brain training game.  This brilliant game kept people occupied for hundreds of hours, me included, and it really does help you improve your own mind.

Brain Training exercises help keep your mind in top condition.  By using several different techniques the brain training games can help keep your mind sharp, and even put off dementia.

Since the early success of brain training games for the Nintendo DS dozens more have been released.  Some are more user friendly than others, although with the aim of these being brain training, maybe the more difficult the better.

Brain Training is not just limited to gaming platforms, you don't even really need to buy a specific brain training application.  Instead you can try stretching your mental abilities in day to day life, work out taxes in your head, play a little sudoku, and maybe do the occasional crossword to help improve your cognative skills!
